Clutch of Time
There is a great urgency ringing through the voices of all the common folk. Soridormi, in the Caverns of Time is distraught with something; something you should investigate. Upon reaching the Caverns of Time, you see Soridormi frantically pacing. What could disturb a bronze dragonflight so? You talk to Soridormi....

Soridormi: "%race%, you come to me in a time of great need. Though the need remains unknown to me. Nozdormu has been gone many moons, as usual, dealing with lines of time. I am here, in his stead, acting as the steward as the Caverns until his return. This time, however, I fear something has gone dreadfully wrong during Nozdormu's patrol of the lines. My mental link with him has become increasingly weak."

Soridormi: "My inability to contact Nozdormu caused me little worry until I was informed that a giant legion of infinite dragonflight have been amassing. Some say, in the absence of Nozdormu, they are planning a massive attack. I, however, feel there is something much more devious at play here. I beg of you, %race%, seek out Anachronos in the hills near the Tree of Life. I have sent him to investigate the amassing infinite dragonflight. He may be able to illuminate us all on what is at play here. I beg of you, go quickly!

Upon reaching the hills near the Tree of Life, you see Anachronos perched in a tree in human form. He is writing volumes of information into a scroll. Who this scroll is for, you have no idea. Anachronos, detects your presence.

Anachronos: "Ah, mortal, Soridormi has sent you here, correct? You wish to learn of the disappearance of Nozdormu. That, I cannot allude to, for I know nothing of it. Though, I do know where he is. You see, not many people are aware of the monumental tasks Nozdormu undertakes to preserve the lines of time. Time exists and continues. The past, the present, and the future all exist. In the case of the past, it has occurred, but still exists in time. It is not over and will never be over. A single event, once complete, has made its impact on the lines of time. These lines can become entangled with other lines from the past or the future. When these lines collide, a rift is formed. These rifts, if allowed to grow, tear apart the fabric of time. Nozdormu is the guardian of these rifts. He is in a continuous state of repairing rifts that form as a result of time existing."

Anachronos: "I realize the concepts of time may be beyond your grasp, but something has occurred; something no dragon could have predicted. It appears that a rift has opened around the lines of time emanating from the planting of the Tree of Life. There have been problems with this line before, but none of this magnitude. I do not know how it is possible, but it seems that time itself was able to draw power from the Tree of Life, spawning some sort of sentient beings in the rift. Nozdormu ventured into the rift to repair it and never returned."

Anachronos: "My instinct compels me to venture into the rift to investigate the whereabouts of Nozdormu. However, Soridormi ordered me to observe the rift and nothing more. As such, I sit here, compiling information."

Anachronos: "Scouts have informed me of a legion of infinite dragonflight amassing on the horizon. I have heard they plan on storming the rift in an attempt to enslave the beings within. With Nozdormu missing, the infinite dragonflight are free to reign over time. If we cannot find Nozdormu soon, we will be at the hands of the infinite dragonflight, and even worse, the fate of time, itself, unraveling. Please, investigate the rift and report back to me."

Rift: Slab

When you enter the zone, there is a "cosmic" feel -- much like the ceilings of the Caverns of Time but with less rocks and more lighting/swirling vortices. In front of you lies a giant granite bridge; decrepit and falling apart. The bridge is well guarded.

Green orb designates the boss. Other trash is not included in these maps.

Beyond the bridge lies the keep of Stromgarde. It is in ruin, but frozen in time as such. Upon first inspection you feel as if the infinite dragonflight is at play here, but deep inside you fear it may be much worse. Upon breaking into the courtyard, you notice a giant infinite flight dragon -- General Multumire. He is bound by shackles emanating from the tops of two towers of the keep -- He is enslaved. Upon approaching him:

General Multumire: "Turn back, mortals. I do not wish to aid you, but the powers at play here are stronger than the infinite and bronze dragonflights combined."

You proceed.

General Multumire:" "As you wish...."

General Multumire's image shimmers and he thrashes around; possessed.

General Multumire

In terms of tank responsibility, the fight is pretty straightforward. With the occasional moving, all that must be done is tank. For the rest of the raid, it is a bit more trying.

Primary Abilities

Horned Cleave: The ground rumbles in four locations, much like when a worm is coming out of the ground in TBC. From these four locations, claws burst from the ground. Anyone on top or near of these bursts will be knocked back and stunned for a short time. Each claw will stay present in the fight permanently unless killed. Each claw has a different detrimental aura. These can be used as a sort of blast shield to block (LoS) Maw of time.

Maw of Time: A conal AE that does somewhat minimal damage but adds a debuff that increases Maw of Time's subsequent damage by 100%. Lasts 20 minutes. Stacks infinitely.

Infinite Horde: General Multumire explodes into numerous infinite whelplings. Each have a small AE that does damage and -% to movement speed. Corralling and AE'ing the whelps is of the utmost importance -- do not get caught in the middle. After all whelps are killed, General Multumire reassociates and the fight continues.

Like most other dragons, General Multumire has a tailswipe that he casts OFTEN. Dodging Maw of Time cannot be done by standing behind him. If you are swiped, you will be hit off the island to your death.

If the MT ever goes out of General Multumire's hitbox range, he will shout:

General Multumire: "Cowards! You cannot possibly continue!"

General Multumire

Race: Timeless Dragonflight (Possessed)

HP
: TBD

Classification: Boss
He then banishes everyone from the zone for 5 minutes.

Occasionally, out of the two towers timeless dragons will spawn that need to be offtanked and killed. They have mortal cleave so don't let them hit the tank(s).

Upon killing General Multumire, all members of the raid will receive a debuff. Upon clicking the debuff off, the raid will be thrown into the air, and shot through the rifts of time, to a different plane.

Rift: Construirea

At the entrance of each new area, following the first, there are two timeless guardians. They are minibosses that drop key fragments that can be combined to open various timeless coffers found throughout the zone.

The layout of Construirea is kind of tattered, as if caught in the middle of reconstruction. There are large floating slabs of "world matter" that the raid must traverse. This is similar to the frogger "event" after Patchwerk, but requires jumping from one floating piece of rubble to the other.

Trash in this rift are a mesh of enslaved infinite dragonflight and, for the first time, the beings that truly dominate the realm. There are numerous infinite dragons, ridden by these beings. They patrol the skies at high speed. It is imperative to watch their movement so the raid is not caught off guard or split when engaged. One of their primary skills is wing buffet, which can throw people to their doom if approached unexpectedly.

Cladyre
This is a fight based on the organization of raid members. They must move flawlessly and in coordination in order to beat Cladyre.

Upon agroing Cladyre, three debuffs are placed on all members of the raid. They stack with one another when close to other raid members:

    -    Beneficial spells: +10% cast speed, +10% healing, -20% detrimental spell cast speed, 20% healing taken in damage.

    -    Melee: +10% attack speed, +10% attack power, 30% damage dealt reflected.

    -    Detrimental spells: +10% cast speed, +10% damage, 30% damage reflected.

Primary Abilities

Rearrangement:: Cladyre occasionally restructures the area you are fighting him at. Tiles will glow slightly before lowering or raising, etc. If you are stuck on a lowered tile, your fatigue bar is triggered. If you are lucky enough to be raised before your fatigue bar expires, you live. Raised blocked are high enough to cause death from jumping. Levitation effects can help, but don't fall off the sides!

Uncontrollable Past: Every minute, Cladyre resets his hitpoints and the tanks agro to 30 seconds prior. Ticking big damage before the 30 second mark is important, but watching agro is too. Negative healing effects apply.

Unstable displacement: Cladyre randomly swaps the threat of five people of the highest threat with five people of the lowest threat. Does not affect main tank. Can be used as agro control.

Cladyre

Race: Time Dweller

HP: TBD
Rift: Influenta

Rift Influenta seems to be directly linked to the lines of time. Each island pulse, actually changing in size, with the raw power of time; rifts grant each island a different detrimental effect. Each island is accompanied by multiple waves of mobs that phase into existence on their respective islands. Once all the waves on one island have been cleared, the raid is teleported to the next island.

Auricular

Auricular is located in the center of a dais. There are five temporal rifts powering him. Each rift imbues Auricular with a different aura. The longer each rift is open, the wider each aura becomes. In order to defeat Auricular, each of the five temporal rifts must be disabled, thus disabling his auras. When a temporal rift is disabled, Auricular suffers 16% of his life in feedback damage. He has 98% damage reduction until all rifts have been disabled. Upon reaching 20% life, Auricular becomes enraged, drastically lowering the recast time of his knockback AE.

All rifts spawn adds periodically. When a rift is attacked, it produces spawns more rapidly.

Auras:

Liniste - An aura of silence. All players affected will be unable to cast spells. The buff lasts for 30 seconds. Ticks every 5 seconds.

Spectrului - An aura of chromatic negative resistance. All players affected suffer a negative 10 to all resistances. Stacks 10 times.

Mortalitatii - An aura of mortality. All players affected receive 50% less from healing effects.

Viteza - An aura of speed. All affected players attacks will be slowed by 10%. Stacks 9 times.

Moarte - An aura of death. All players are affected by a HP and MP dot.

Primary Abilities

Auricular

Race: Time Dweller

HP: TBD
Bellow of Time An AE attack, which grows in diameter each time it is cast. It deals substantial damage and knocks back all affected players 5 yards beyond the spells max diameter. Cast every minute. Eventually, the diameter of the Below will become great enough that it will knock all players off the dais to their deaths. Does not affect MT. Upon enrage, Auricular casts Below every 30 seconds.

Backfeed: Occasionally, Auricular will stop attacking the main tank and focus on a rift. All other rifts auras temporarily disable as he channels an AE blast though the rift being focused on. Severe, unresistable damage results.

Rift: Antice

Rift Antice looks like a chaotic conglomeration of past and present. The land is created from pieces of time; Steam tanks from Stormwind, burrows from the orcish hordes. You must walk over and fight upon these ancient relics of war. Be careful, line of sight issues are immense and falling off certain objects is quite easy.

Batran

Batran

Race: Time Dweller

HP: TBD
Batran draws energy directly from the lines of time, giving him immense power and knowledge of the ages.

The fight, in concept is quite simple, however it requires extreme coordination and knowledge of the World of Warcraft.

Upon approaching the sanctum of the builder, there is a faint, timeless laughing. A figure appears from nothingness.

Batran: "Unsuspected is your progress, Mortals."
Batran: "Weave, you do, through the rifts of time, like Nozdormu."
Batran: "Let us test your knowledge of the ages."

Primary Abilities

Temporal shift: Batran phases out for ten seconds, stating, "Let us test your knowledge," upon which he randomly selects 4 people from the raid, switching their roles. You take on all abilities of the other character, as your own -- you get a pet bar with pertinent class skills, their threat, stats, hitpoints, etc. For example a tank will gain all the skills of priest on the raid and vice versa. It is dire that the raid seamlessly switches their rolls before Batran phases back in, dealing devastation upon an unsuspecting tank.

Call of the Ancients: Batran's image shimmers and he calls upon the abilities of one of the many raid encounters from previous World of Warcraft content. For example, he can mimic Nefarious from Blackwing Lair, AE fearing, calling skeletons, and selecting certain classes to have modified skills. The ability changes occur for three minutes every four minutes. Bring your tranquilizing shot.
Negation of Time: An aura Batran possesses through all forms that reduces hastes to zero. That includes attack speed, casting speed, etc.

Time Leak: Batran has a conal AE that will be cast through the entirety of the fight. If the recipient has mana, their casting time will be increased by 1% every second for the duration of the buff. Lasts 5 minutes. It is imperative that tank switches after temporal shift are quick to insure this AE does not hit healers.

Rift: Finisor

This is the final rift. With the exception of timeless guardians, there is no trash.

Ora

Upon approaching the citadel, you see Nozdormu suspended in a shackle of time. Upon closer inspection it seems to resemble the hand of a giant being; Ora. Ora is an almost completely ethereal being, possessing no consistent form. His energy comes directly from the lines of time.

Ora: "You... Wish to free... This?... This... monstrosity?..."
Ora: "He... Is... Time?..."
Ora: "He... Is... Afraid..."
Ora: "He will betray... all... for him..."
Ora: "Now... Join him!"

Primary Abilities

The first two phases of this fight consist of no tank. They are merely battling the two ethereal hands of Ora.

Phase 1:
Ora's hand effortlessly swats through the raid, causing severe damage to whomever is hit. It can be dodged, but moves relatively fast.

Palm drive: Ora's hand swings high into the air, targeting one person. Upon slamming to the ground, the target takes 50% HP in damage and is locked in a temporal cage for one minute. Regen is disabled, the target is magic immune and the player is unable to do anything. Around the target, rift dwellers spawn, needing to be killed.

Fingers of Light: Ora randomly targets raid members casting a chain of light from his fingertips. They are much like the eye beams of Illidian, but faster. If a player is hit, the light beam bounces to all surrounding players, like chain lightning, amplifying the damage over each target.

Ora

Race: Time Dweller

HP: TBD

Swipe: Ora swipes his hand through the raid. All affected players are knocked to the side into a group, dealing damage, slowing movement/attack/casting speed. Members must disperse quickly or risk being destroyed by Ora's other attacks.

After defeating Ora's first hand, phase 2 begins. Ora releases his grasp on Nozdormu, allowing him to regain consciousness.

Nozdormu: "Mortals? What has happened. I feel like I have been in an eternal slumber."
Ora: "They come... to save... you..."
Nozdormu: "Protect me, mortals, while I regain strength."

Nozdormu releases a deafening roar, before collapsing to the ground. All mana and health regeneration is increased by 400% for 30 seconds.

Ora: "You all... PERISH!..."

Nozdormu's begins channeling a spell to regain his strength.

Phase 2:

Time rip: Ora swipes at the lines of time, opening a temporal rift, allowing mobs to pour out of the rift. Mobs from the rift target Nozdormu and attempt to lengthen his recovery. Rifts stay active forever. Cast every minute.

Temporal lapse: Ora claims, "To... the... past!..." randomly targeting a raid member, effectively deleveling a characters skills to that of a random lower level (30-50). All skills not in the level range selected are unusable. Gear effects still apply (ie: healing on a high level item).

All abilities of Phase 1 still occur periodically.

Upon Nozdormu regaining his strength, he roars again, increasing all mana and health regeneration by 400% for 30 seconds.

Nozdormu: "Mortals, I have returned. Let us patch this rift in time!"
Ora: "Presistance..."

Nozdormu casts an arcane spell, closing all temporal rifts opened up until that point.

Phase 3:

For the first time Ora materializes into an ethereal form. Nozdormu attacks the hulking avatar, acting as tank. Much like the rock giants in the Burning Crusade, every 20% Ora splits into an image, that needs to be offtanked. When Ora splits, he performs an arcane explosion, dealing damage to all members of the raid. Each split posses the same skills as the original Ora, but weaker in potency.

Image Split: Ocassionaly Ora splits into images that surround the border of the area. The images run through the raid group, randomly, which must be dodged. If they are not dodged, the person hit will take severe damage. Upon initiating this skill, the raid is sucked into the middle of the area and a -50% movment speed debuff is applied.

Timeless Focus: A debuff that is applied to tanks every 30 seconds. This debuff illuminates whichever split of Ora they have #1 threat on. It renders them immune to the effects of Image Split. Lasts 2 minutes.

Upon defeating Ora, Nozdormu turns to you.

Nozdormu: "Mortals, I, and every creature in time, are forever indebted to you. When you are ready, let us destroy this rift once and for all."

When you are ready, you talk to Nozdormu and he commences closing the rift. As the rift is closed, Nozdormu takes you to the Caverns of Time.

Timeless Guardians

These trash mobs come in packs of 2. They guard the second rift and on. They are annoying minibosses who have a zone-wide soul link; they share damage and die at the same time. They randomly switch off between being spell immune and melee immune. Casting damaging spells on the spell immune guardian will result in 100% spell damage reflection and will trigger an AE around BOTH guardians. The same goes for meleeing the melee immune guardian. They both have four passive abilities that alternate randomly. Both guardians cannot have the same aura simultaneously:

        -        AE Silence
        -        Attack speed -50%
        -        Damage taken -50%
        -        Spell reflection

Upon reaching 20% the guardians frenzy; melee damage decreases by 50% but attack speed increases by 250%. At 5%, the guardians will begin to channel a spell for an AE suicide. This cannot be dodged and they must be killed before the spell is cast or the raid is killed.

Mark of the Timeless

There is a legendary item that can be crafted via this zone. Each of the timeless dweller bosses have a very low chance to drop a piece of a shattered trinket casing. Once the four trinket casing pieces are found, you must find five gem shards in timeless coffers throughout the zone. When you have all these pieces, you can begin a quest towards achieving the final item; Mark of the Timeless.
